Jess Willard. Two dreadful defenses in the almost 4 years that he held the title that he won off of a sliding 37 (terribly old back then) year old Jack Johnson. And not that impressive a run prior to getting his shot doesn't cut it in my book. Problem is almost every HW that won the title back when there was only one is in the IBHOF.

            Not a bad idea.

Today I read a thread here and stumbled upon the name : "Lionel Rose".
Always thought it was some boxing "historian/writer" but it was given as an example of a fighter so I went straight to boxrec to check what I don't know.
              And the outcome was :
              http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...1513&cat=boxer

This should be the first removal as far as I currently know from the HOF.
I was never even interested in who is the HOF and who is not but this one gave it a new low.

Barry McGuigan - although i believe his induction is partly due to politics in N.Ireland

I'm a fan of Ingemar Johansson, but there are better heavyweights than him who should be in there.

Pipino Cuevas was a great fighter, but IBHOF worthy? I'm not convinced (I've only seen a dozen or so of his fights, though).

Matthew Saad Muhammad is borderline imo.

Dwight Qawi shouldn't be in there.

Braddock is undeserving, regardless of how many movies are made about him.

(Yes, I still hate Mike Tyson, but he does deserve to be in there. Barely.)

                    Why do you say that?
