Do some research, don't expect others to do it for you. If the division minimum limit were 175 that would mean two fighters weighing below the cruiser weight limit could actually fight for the heavyweight championship. What we be the point of having the cruiser weight division?

As far as when the limit at cruiser changed from 190 to 200lbs and when it coincided with Jones-Ruiz.......Both Vasily Jirov and Wayne Braithweight defended their cruiser weight titles after Jones had beaten Ruiz and did so with a 190lb limit. I know this 1, because I was ringside for Jirov-Toney, and 2, because it take 2 seconds to look up on boxrec, you moron!

      Proof? I didn't think so.

Uhh how much do you think shoes weigh and clothes. So if theres a strict weigh in how can you come fully clothed, and again no cite and again you could have two cruisers fight for the HW belt so long as they could get themselves ranked by the sanctioning body.

You have no cite just making stuff up. The cruiserweight limit was raised in 2003, it was upto the individual fighters to negotiate that year what the limit would be.

The last known rule on the division minimum was 175. Its still in the books. Look it up. You dont know what youre talking about. If there was a strict minimum how could you get weighed in wearing tennis shoes, baggie jeans and a baggie shirt. JOnes wasnt even over 190.

I keep knocking you out. Why are you even posting.

Proof that jones could have had anything in his pockets? Look at the damn pictures. You can see he has his cell on him. What are you talking about. He could have had anything on. He walked up to the scale in street clothes and shoes because his weight didnt matter and he wanted it a bit inflated for psychological reasons similar to why 6'10 basketball players list themselves at 7'0

Like I said, you just keep putting your foot in your mouth. Lets say you're correct about the minimum weight you can fight at heavyweight at. Why are you complaining about Jones? And this just goes to show smaller more talented fighters can compete with bigger, slower and less skilled fighters. You've just made my argument for me you dope!

Uhh...so youre switching arguments. John Ruiz was terrible. He wasnt in the same class as a Klitschko, dude had 10 shoulda been losses. And Jones could never hurt him. Ruiz was a clincer, Vitali isnt, Ruiz threw 15 punches a round...Vitali throws 100. Thats the difference. A talented, almost superhuman Jones who was faster and stronger than those old-timey fighters, who some on here claim was unbeatable in his prime, had to cherry pick a guy like Ruiz. He wouldnt fight a super heavie? Why? Because he stood no chance.

And since the claim was made that Haye was a blown up lhw...ruiz started his pro career at 183...........

No Im not switching arguments, Im humoring you. If Ruiz ****** so bad why would neither of the K bros fight him to unify? Should have been easy money, right? Why is it Ruiz BEAT Holyfield less than a year after Holyfield arguably beat Lewis in their rematch? All this almost 3 years before Lewis turned Vitaly's face to pulp. Why did the Klitschko's duck John Ruiz?

Sorry guys, I know I shouldn't be doing this but Im just having a little fun.

Wait wait wait? Did you just use triangle theory? Are you opening this up to triangle theory? We can use triangle theory all day big boy. Especially when you use the "arguably". He arguably beat=he lost. did you know joe Louis lost to Schmeling after he had taken a year away from the sport and Schmeling in his prime lost to Gipsy Daniels who Louis never fought. Gypsy Daniels lost some 40 times or so, one of them coming to the great Len johnson less than a month before he KO 1'ed Max Schmeling. Len Johnson also was ducked by Louis. The same year he beat Gypsy Danies he lost to Jack Hood...also ducked by joe Louis. Who that same year drew Jimmy Jones...a very powerful welterweight out of Youngstown Ohio, who joe louis also didnt fight. And that same year Jimmy Jones lost 5 welterweight fights.

Triangle theory doesnt work and its a joke. The Klitschkos didnt fight Ruiz because of which belt he held and who his management was, as simple as that. Same reason they havent fought Valuev or quite a few of his opponents. They dont deal with Don King. They arent scared of Ruiz. Wow, you are seriously trolling, triangle theory, trying to say the Klitschko's were ducking ruiz, saying guys "arguably won." Hardcore trollin.

And who are you talking to? Are you schitzo or something? No one else has posted in this thread in hours because theyre all your homeboys on here and know you have no argument.

Again if Jones couldnt fight unless he was over 190 why was he allowed wearing street clothes and shoes at the weigh in? Answer that?
