              what the ****? totally wrong

go read boxing material from the day. across the board, they say he had the agility of a much smaller man and the raw punching power of a much larger man. Sullivan was in a time when there were still common vestiges of fencing in boxing and lots of guys still moved in a straight line, threw straight punches and focused on one punch at time, but he was noted for his ability to feint and slip is one of the first fighters who used the "one-two" to devasting effect. A lot of guys in that time threw ugly haymaker-like punches as hooks, but Sullivan was noted for throwing all kinds of "round blows" that were heavy but accurate and on-balance.

boxing in those days was ridiculous, look at the stance on osullivan what is that all about, with his hands like that he would of gotten hit with lefts and rights, uppercuts he would not last a round with any fighter of todays heavywights, his stache would of been removed with a tyson hook
