The Klits would most likely win. Baer has a puncher's chance against Wlad, but that's about it. They're both far superior to Carnera and are technically on another level from Baer.

By watching this video it gives me even more reason to pick either Klit. Baer is way to slow to land anything realistic, He's pretty small to, not sure if he would even been fighting as a heavyweight today.

Are you telling me you're not impressed with Baer's slow looping telegraphed arm punches (and backhands)? Honestly man! Were that any other fighter but Schmeling in the ring that night their skull would have been literally caved in from the force of those titanic blows. Wlad would have ended up looking like Arseface from the Preacher comics whilst Vitali's head would have severed from his neck like the Kurgan at the end of the first Highlander movie, all the souls of his past victims spilling up into the arena lights high above the ring. Baer was for real man.

Either Klitschko (with one hand tied behind his back) easily destroys Baer and Schmeling on the same night.

None of these great old timers can compete with the best modern fighters in their weight classes. No disrespect to Baer or any of the old timers but they should just be compared with fighters maybe 1 generation from when they fought at most.

After that, its really kind of laughable.
