He should have filled the lottery instead of boxing. :yep:
Jeff Wooden: won 18 (KO 11) + lost 8 (KO 3) + drawn 0
never won a legit belt
Corrie Sanders:won 42 (KO 31) + lost 4 (KO 4)
beat Wladimir Klitschko to get the WBO belt, lost it during his 1st defense to Vitali
****y Ryann:55 (KO 44) + lost 10 (KO 6) + drawn 0
never won a legit belt
I cant be bothered to do the rest but the facts should speak for themselves.
With the exception of Saunders those guys are basically journeymen as well. He drew with one of the worst versions of Toney and you claim that as an achievement?
Originally posted by frankenfrank View PostHe just decisioned Holyfield , was the first (and yet the only) to stop Vassily Jirov , stopped an undefeated Francois Botha , decisioned an undefeated Vaughn Bean , outpointed Axel Schulz , decisioned James Smith , stopped Bert Cooper , stopped Alex Stewart and decisioned a 6'10" 275lbs Mike White (whom stopped James Douglas) a 14 moths after skipping the CW division in his way from 175lbs.
That was won of the worst versions of Holyfield, who was suffering from heart problems. It was obvious from that performance that Moorer was never going to have the belt for long.
Jirov was past prime after his war with Toney and had no business in the hw divison. as his hw record shows
The rest of the guys you mentioned are not very good
Originally posted by frankenfrank View Postbut held a belt and was a top contender for a while.
Originally posted by frankenfrank View PostBut is a top 10 all time HW.
Originally posted by frankenfrank View PostSo Jeff Wooden whom went the distance with Tua and Michael Grant is not even half decent.
Not to mention Hassim Rahman whom he stopped twice , your standards are a bit high , you know ?.
I rate boxers on their skill set and resume, none of these fighters you mentioned fit my criteria for being a decent fighter.
Originally posted by frankenfrank View PostSo maybe he had a problem in that fight , but what about his late stoppages ?
Just because he koed guys late in fights doesnt mean he doesnt fade either its not the same thing. Maybe those guys gassed more than he did for example or made a mistake later on in those fights.
Originally posted by frankenfrank View PostSo he suddenly forgot how to fight ?
Originally posted by frankenfrank View Postmore than 10 pro fights of his , and then a few amateur fights as well.
Originally posted by frankenfrank View PostYou just asked how many of his fights did I watch , so how did you know I haven't watched enough.
You have said you have watched 10 fights which include Holyfield, Lewis and Douglas? None of these fights took place during his prime
Originally posted by frankenfrank View Post(1) Almost every opponent of his during his prime especially was terrified of Tyson .
Originally posted by frankenfrank View Post(2) None of Tyson's opponents had Tua's chin
(3) None of Tyson's opponents had Tua's power : Tua will not need a lot (of landed hooks), just a few.
Originally posted by frankenfrank View PostI won't watch the entire fight at this moment just to reply this question.
Basically (the answer is) : when Tua came forward.Last edited by Toney616; 06-27-2010, 06:51 AM.

But even if I wanted to do it , there is another problem : the platform allows me to browse only your last 500 posts.
And in your case 500 posts is 4 days , so maybe you try to flush that evidence to the past ?

"If you could survive one or two rounds with me, which would be alotta pain and heartbreak in your life cause, not only would I just hurt you for those few rounds, I'd do damage do your body, your brain.
-George Foreman,1991 during his comeback
The old version of Foreman would've defeated any version of Tyson, and any version of Holmes.
