Meldrick Taylor was well ahead after 10 rounds too. The bottom line is that Oscar ran, not because he had the fight in the bag, but because the tide had turned and had he stood still, Tito would've started tagging him. And there's no question in my mind that Oscar would've gotten stopped. But to answer the TS's question, it was a HUGE fight. Mega.

Oscar-Tito was the biggest fight that could be made at that time!!The hype was huge, but the fight was found wanting!!To me,the only rounds Tito won were the last3,when Oscar started to run,as far as the 1st 9 rounds,Oscars handspeed & jab owned Tito easily!!Tito was clearly outclassed by Oscar, but the DLH gameplan & some foul judging cost him a dominant win!!

I don't know how anyone could've scored it for Trinidad. De La Hoya gave him a good old fashion schooling.
