Dempsey has quite a few people better than Willard on his resume in the W column. As far as Heavyweights go, Sharkey and Fulton were better. And I do rate Sharkey in my top 20 Heavyweights. That said, Sharkey beat his ass and Dempsey cheated to win.

In his era alone Id rank Gene Tunney, Max Baer, Max Sxhmelling, Primo Carnea and James Braddock over him. Thats a quarter of the top 20 right there. Please post your top 20 list because I think you are short changing a lot of great fighters.

The reason Id still rank Baer over him is because of his homicidal punching power. I can only imagine what his career wouldve been if he wasnt haunted by what happened in the ring with Campbell.

Schmelling I pick because of his popularity and cult status. If you totally ignore celebrity status when ranking fighters, Dempsey and Tyson would suffer greatly.

Not my forum, I just run it. And I didn't PLUG anything, it answered the guys question and he was satisfied. Not 1 hour before this was I criticized for copying and pasting something again, well why not just link to it instead of doing that? There's no pleasing you miserable fools. Always got to cry about something.

In addition 53% of the users on the forum are active...good luck finding that anywhere else, period.
