Jones was even his 10th WBO title defense, after amassing a record of 43-0. Not prime? Please.

jones had a great career and was hurt in fights by an offensive style that gave everyone a haymakers chance.

Defeat peak MAB twice, becoming the first to beat him. Real skilled, fast and could punch.
Also defeated 31-0 Jorge Eliecer Julio, Orlando Canizales, Tom Johnson, Tracy Harris Patterson. But at times could blow real hot and cold.
Thoughts?
KO power in his right and good offensive skills. But shaky chin and stamina contributed to his inconsistency.

He had no business losing to John Johnson and Pinckney but I wouldn't call him an under-achiever either considering that he scored two wins over a young Barrera and good wins over an older Canizales & Patterson despite his obvious limitations.Last edited by TheGreatA; 05-15-2010, 06:54 PM.
