In terms of his desire to win then yes, but it was clear that he had left the Cus Damato model for good. He was throwing single punches and not moving his head

I just cant support fighters who fight dirty, which is why I've never been a fan of Hopkins, but I do rate his acting ability though, lol

I've always said that fighter who generate a lot of offense always get overrated and I find it's one of the most consistently accurate axioms in boxing. Just look at Felix Trinidad for instance. I'm old enough to remember George Foreman getting hyped up back in 70s exactly the same way Tyson was in the 80s.

I agree that Tito and Foreman were overrated, but it must of been hard not to overrate Foreman. The scary thing is, that he was only throwing arm punches, just imagine if he started to put his hips into his punches.

I rate the will to win and overcoming a tough, dangerous opponent as highly as I do the technical side of things.

I can't say that myself as Duran has easily been one of my all-time favorites and he was as ****** as they come lol.

Scary! If he had Frazier and Norton might well be dead men

Good point, which is one of the reason I like to watch past prime fighters, because they have to rely on their intangibles more to win fights. Or to put it another way you get to see what they are really made of

He almost sent Frazier to the moon with arm punches, he would of been arrested if he had learned how to punch properly. A fight with him and Tyson would of been interesting if it happened back in the early 90's

I would have favored Tyson but Mike didn't want any part of George I'm afraid

I read that article as well, Cus had warned him that his style was all wrong for Foreman, even a cheeseburger eating one, lol
