Ali or Louis?

ali won the title by beating liston in 64, he lost it in 71 against frazier, thats how i see it.
bonavena and quarry were real fights, not fantasy fights like u were trying to feed us.

Bonavena and Quarry were real fights, but Ali had no title to defend. You can't re-write history no matter how unjust it may be.

I would go with Ali for Greatness and in a head to head matchup as well. He has a deeper resume because he was fortunate enough to be fighting in the most competitive HW era. Louis has the longetivity that only some of the best ever could produce. It's impressive to keep winning for that long no matter how good or bad the competition is.
I would also see Ali outboxing Louis for a UD(Don't really see a stoppage in this fight because of Louis' ability to recover and because he doesn't get cut. Also Ali's chin.) A lot of movement and slick boxing would do him in.
I'll always go with Ali#1 and Louis #2.

i am not re-writing anything.
fact is ali was not beaten until the first frazier fight, and the public back then recognized frazier as the undisputed champ after the FOTC, not before.
so i am not the only one who thinks like that, its not really that hard, except for ignorant ppl of course.
or for ppl who talk out of their ass to win a debate under any circumstances.

Ali's quickness of foot would see him past Joe Louis, I mean it would be the primary difference. He'd beat Louis to the punch all night, and either UD him or TKO him late. Better hand speed, better chin too.
