As I've said before, this isn't a debate. I pointed out that Calzaghe has NO title defenses against LEGITIMATE top-ranked opposition, has beaten WELL-PAST it hall of famers, and that won/loss records are meaningless when comparing major-leaguers (Lantinos) to minor-leaguers (Euro-frauds). End of discussion.

I've already stated that neither of them have beaten in-prime greats.

I have, however stated, that Calzaghe has made more title defenses against top ranked opposition, has beaten more hall of famers and has faced fighters with better win/loss records.

Now, if you truly believe that Zarate has the better resume, why don't you name all the great (or better) fighters he's beaten? Please attempt to school me. If you don't, it just proves that you have nothing to come back with and that I am the winner of this debate.

Zarate should have a win against HOF'er Lupe Pintor, a robbery so horrible Zarate retired. Zarate also destroyed the WBA champ Alfonso Zamora, as well as defeated Albert Davila, two excellent fighters, although nowhere near ATG's. I too believe Zarate was the better fighter.
