One of them has made many more title defenses than the other.
One of them has beaten more hall of famers than the other.
One of them hasn't made title defenses against guys who's records were 2-3 and 1-4.
I think you know who I'm talking about.

Fact: Calzaghe spent 90% of his career fighting minor-leaguers (ie. European fighters).
Fact: All the big-leaguers that ARE on Calzaghe's resume are either well past their primes (Jones, Hopkins, Brewer) or were never serious players (Lacy).
Fact: Zarate spent his career fighting Latino fighters...... 20-20 Latino > 40-0 Euro-bum.

I have, however stated, that Calzaghe has made more title defenses against top ranked opposition, has beaten more hall of famers and has faced fighters with better win/loss records.
Now, if you truly believe that Zarate has the better resume, why don't you name all the great (or better) fighters he's beaten? Please attempt to school me. If you don't, it just proves that you have nothing to come back with and that I am the winner of this debate.
