Grade Joe Fraziers resume

There are a couple of guys on here who are claiming Joe Frazier has a weak resume. Well here is a chance to discuss and grade it. Have at it!

I would of liked to of seen joe against norton, patterson and lyle, his resume is great but! frazier gets way over rated

I don't know how anyone could give it in an A. Of the three other best heavyweights of his era, he only beat one of them in Ali. And keep in mind that Ali was coming off a three year layoff and didn't have the proper stamina to go the distance with Frazier.

As for his other opponents, he only defeated one other world champion and one titlist: Foster and Ellis. Foster was a light heavyweight and Ellis wasn't a great fighter. Good, but not great.

He also has good wins over Quarry, Bonavena, Bugner, etc., but I still don't consider his resume to be anything near A.

I give Wladimir Klit's resume a C.......without Eddie Chambers i give it a -D

thank you for talking sensibly.i give his resume a b-.missed all the big punchers except for george,didnt fight any rising contenders.i dont put a ton of stock in his 3 fights wit ali being tat he lost 2 of them.theres no shame in losing to foreman,but they way he lost is what does it for me.im convinced he would have beat anybody with a big punch

the fact that these guys try to list ellis,mathis an bonaneva as great wins is hillarious.

you may not like wlad,or vitali,but they have fought absolutely everybody.what they are doing is the definition of cleaning out a division.something frazier never came close or even attempted to do

joe frazier only lost to ATGs, i dont think he deserves anything lesser than an A-
he also beat a physically stronger version of ali than norton did in my opinion.
