Grade Joe Fraziers resume

There are a couple of guys on here who are claiming Joe Frazier has a weak resume. Well here is a chance to discuss and grade it. Have at it!

I said A-

A+ is like Ali or ODLH (they fought everybody)

A is like Foreman

A - the Frazier level

I think A- is fair. I'd even entertain arguments for B+. Anything lower than that though and you're either a plain hater or you don't know what you're talking about. Jmo.

How is it skipping out when Jerry Quarry had beaten Lyle, Shavers and Mac Foster?

because Jerry Quarry actually had a pair and wasn't afraid of punchers like frazier was.Ali also got around to fighting all three men whether he was champion or not.

had Foster and Lyle beat Quarry they could have forced a Frazier fight. If he didn't fight them than, than calling it a duck would be much more reasonable. And finally...both Frazier and Norton were stable mates trained by the same man, Futch. Blaming Frazier for this fight not happening is like blaming the Klits for not fighting one another.

Ali fought virtually every contender in the division from 1971-1972 and he couldn't force a fight with frazier.There is no such thing as forcing a fight with a cherry picker like frazier.


Ali fought Jimmy Ellis,a friend,former sparring partner and a man he had known since childhood.Julio Cesar Chavez fought close friend and sparring partner Jose Luis Ramirez.

Isn't it convenient how you just forget about all the other tough fighters he took on including punchers like Bonovena and Chuvalo who were both considered heavy handed during those 37 fights. And during that period of time after Quarry, who we already know beat all your favorite that Frazier didn't need to fight, Frazier took on bigger and tougher fights with Ali and Foreman. All this has been explained to you before, you just keep clinging to you excuses to hate.

Lol, yeah Frazier couldn't have had any balls, he only fought the hardest puncher in history twice and kept trying to get back up every time. And Ali's style was much more conducive to fighting more often, another fact you like to over look.

I also find it a bit funny how you cast all the blame on Frazier for this fight not being made but never mention Norton besides to say Joe never fought him. Can you say AGENDA?

No I explained Quarry had beaten them, taking them out of position to force a fight with Frazier and Joe taking on bigger fights in turn. Nice try at twisting my words though.

are those not you words lol?was larry not the recognized champ?so using your own logic,which you kep trying to change from post to post.1 more time cause your learning impaired.look at your own words.holmes beat weaver,thomas and morrison who in turn beats dokes,coetzee,and page.get it yet?so if smokin joe fought everybody,then so did larry.
