Not sure about that...he didn't fight ALL the best competition out there, not in the 90's. Action Jackson was clearly over the hill when he beat him, Road Warrior was not in his right element at 160 and the others were mostly no-hopers.
Anyway, if he ever did fight G-Man, he'd get kayoed. That's certain. He wasn't as sound defensively back then, Hopkins.
Disappointed he didn't fight Toney, but hung in there well with Jones, which is a good enough benchmark for me.. I'd say he'd have schooled both McClellan & Benn TBH..
