Oh and Tyson would not keep getting up like Joe.

Frazier had the biggest heart of any heavy in history.

Prime Foreman was faster of both feet and hands. This version of George was slow. He needed guys to stand in front of him. We saw how Morrison totally befuddled George in 1993. Simply put, Tyson in '91 was better than Morrison of '93, and he had a better chin. Back then I thought George would win, but my opinion has changed.

      Nah, Tyson's too fast.

If Tommy Morrison could last against George with a horrific chin, but with a stick & move style, Tyson could do that & then some.

Jackie Chan was far better than Tucker, we saw this in Rush Hour. Foreman beats Tucker, Chan beats them both, Hulk Hogan beats Chan, The Iron Fist beats Hulk Hogan, then John Fury destroys them all just for the fun of it. Nash out - His Majesty

Agreed! But could Tyson change his style like Morrison did? I think we can all agree that Tommy surprised us all that night. (Well me anyway.) Would Tyson be able to do the same?

I just can't visualize Tyson taking a step back, never mind fighting an in-out style.

I felt at the time, circa 1990, that if Big George could surrive the first two rounds (not a small thing) Tyson would eventually walk straight into an uppercut.

Tyson could only fight one way - going straight forward and that is suicide against even an ancient version of Foreman.

Once that uppercut lands it's over.

            Nobody finished like George.

Dangerous fight for Mike, no doubt. But Tyson didn't just charge straight ahead. He had very good head movement, shifted and fought from angles. At the end of the day it's a fantasy fight and impossible to prove no matter what either of us believe may have happened.

True statement for 1989 Tyson, the one Foreman would have met. That's why the first two rounds scared me so (being a Big George fan as I was).

But by the time he got out of prison all that head movement and footwork was gone.

He had become a one punch lunger by Hoyfield.

But yes, he did have much better head movement early on.

It is kind of amazing but once he went with King and lost connection with any good trainers his skills declined sharply.

You think he would have retained some of the knowledge.

Tucker seems a bit underrated. Heck, most the guys who Mike steamrolled through seem that way. I think he'd do damn well in the 4 body era.

I guess that last part is true for most top contenders and lesser champions.

This is how Foreman looked like after the Alex Stewart fight. The same Stewart who lasted about two minutes with Mike Tyson two years prior.

So, the Tyson who destroyed a younger Stewart, who dealt with a serious (and more mobile) puncher in Razor Ruddock in 1991, who fought on even terms with Holyfield in 1996 and 1997 would be knocked out by someone who lost to Tommy Morrison and Shannon Briggs, of all people, and received gift decisions against Stewart and Axel Schulz?

Lest we forget, Big George was also being outclassed by Michael Moorer before finding that Hail Mary.

I admire Foreman - as we all do - but sometimes the mere facts speak louder than any speculation.

That's the point. Tyson is just the guy that Hail Mary could land on.

Foreman couldn't beat Holyfied, because he was a superior counter puncher.

Styles make fights and the history of boxing has shown us again and again that the triangular logic doesn't hold up.
