We can break it down to one sentence that explains Berberbiev's sensible conclusion, and his brilliantly honest answer.

At Heavyweight and Cruiserweight, Usyk is too big and strong for me.

This will be denied by certain posters here , and ,because they have no other logical answer than the above and the reality it necessarily then focuses on their Brockton hero and his chances against modern sized ,class ,prime heavies. they froth at the mouth and engage in comically histrionic ,faux indignation, and wildly over the top , personal attacks.

These attacks,I must say, have deeply wounded me and shaken my self confidence to the very core.

    Include me in your prayers.[/QUOTE]

Regardless, they shouldn't. Every fighter has a duty to their kin, to their self, and lastly, to the fans, to not put themselves in an untenable position.

I did something I never did before. I flagged the guy. I hope they notice it and ban this fool.

          Well said.
I'm a big fan of both Beterbiev and Bivol ,both carry themselves with class.

I made Beterbiev the winner last time because of his late surge, but he is aging and I'd not be surprised if Bivol wins the rematch.

I thought Bivol won but it was very close.

Both class acts and a credit to the sport.

AB is too old. No one defeats father time. And he is giving up too much size in the fight. If he was 5 years younger this fight would be more interesting.

At 38 you slow down. At 40 it 's like the floor drops beneath you.

It's individual. Maybe the bottom fell out for you at 40 but that doesn't mean it is everybody's number.

I lost any athletic prowess by 25. But stayed spry and active until I was 60. Weighting 142 pounds, with only minimum effort, for over 35 years.

I got old sometimes in my mid sixties

It is individual; metabolism, diet, and desire.

But to suggest that 38 is different than 40 across the board for everyone is absurd.
