I've seen Duran live at 135 on up, including DeJesus III. That Duran....brother....there is no other. I was also in Montreal. On that day, that was the greatest talent inside a single ring that I'd ever seen. Blew my mind then and it still does today.
Hard to fathom better 147 pounders who could hang.

Except.......People today inexplicably forget the AMAZING wizzard Jose Napoles.
Very likely the greatest Cuban born fighter in history. The version that fought in the late 60's, early 70's? In my little mind he beats every welterweight who's come along since, with Leonard, Duran and Hearns the only stern tests. Stickin' to it.

Duran is the best I have seen, especially including entertainment value. Another Duran boxing is what boxing fans would most relish. He doesn't need to wear a big hat into the ring to entertain.

Hearns sometimes seems like an archetype that a lot of people pull up as the Candyman Boogeyman of opponents. Let me just be clear I don't think you're doing this KC lol.

Somehow an African American raised tough, put through the crucible of perhaps the best at least one of the best gyms ever to exist for boxing, with one of the best trainers... Wait I'm not done yet! With an insane reach, an insane jab, and skills to pay the bills it's just like people think this guy can beat everybody!

        You know what?
when I put it that way? It starts to make sense!

          Incredible post

          We absolutely forget Jose Napoles.

One of the greatest fighters of all-time in boxing's greatest division of all-time.

There is no AI here. They are using a dinosaur-dumb old editing program.
