I somehow doubt that this has anything to do with moderation of the forums, but rather the inevitable change in reporting when quality writers such as Cliff Rold and Jake Donovan got axed.

To clarify on this, however, Cliff and I were not fired. In fact, we were both approached to stay on board.

I can't/won't speak for Cliff, but I made my own choice to move on. I think highly of Tris, and strongly considered remaining with the site, until the very end.

Perhaps the new administration will consider allowing all banned posters back and opening the Thunderdome for the content they don’t want on the main page.

Perhaps it can be password access only.

Many of us have been here a very long time. While the posts might not indicate it, we have developed an online community that extends outside the forum.

People meet up. People are in fantasy leagues together. Hell we even have some that buy kids food or talk boat investment strategies.

In some cases we don’t’ “know” the people we converse with but we know them- if you understand what I mean.

I would ask the new administration to look at what happens when we lose one. Walt. Larry. We grieve together despite all the arguing.

many posters use the site to share their individual losses to help them grieve.

I understand business needs. Just know that the community you strive to create is already here. As with any community, it has its flaws. But look at how we all are coming together when we have a common goal.

Hopefully that counts for something.
