Thank you for this. However, I don't agree that I feel the same way about Dempsey as Z and GhostofDummy feel about Johnson. They blatantly lie about him. As you said, I provide primary sources for everything I say about Dempsey to back up my stance.

By the way, did you want to see the source about the ref admitting that Dempsey hit Sharkey low? I can probably find it if I look hard enough. It's not hate. It's simple facts. If it were hate, I would have rode with Z right away when he claimed Dempsey ducked Greb. I only conceded that he had a point after he provided a fair argument about it

Seeing as this thread doesn't look like it's going to evolve into any sort of understanding between any parties I may as well have some measure of fun with the conflicts in history section.


Introducing, Game of Owns:

I shall award points for well made stances, humorous ad homs, and pretty much anything else I feel like deserves some pointless points. This will follow the fencing way of dueling in that "right of way" will be awarded but unlike fencing we at League of Owns feel a forum debate by the nature of it favors the attacker and puts the defender at a disadvantage. ... It's easier to say "Nuh-huh" than to find, show, and explain proof or evidence.

The LOO will maintain a regularly updated leaderboard of GOO duelists.

The GOO champion shall be awarded a case of beer once every quarter ... after a few months of bitching at one another folks could use a beer.

We at the League of Owns wish all our competitors luck and happy dueling.



Ivich lands 5 points for his funny tear into Nelly and let's say 5 points for defending his stance well, and another 5 for being out numbered.
