How does Frazier vs Marciano play out?

Rocky is a two handed fighter, Frazier only had a left hook, as in no jab or straight left. This could be a rare fight where both men are down, but in the end Marciano had the better chin. Frazier was stunned, knocked down by guys who were not big punchers and hardly landed much. Quite a few times on film. I think Rocky would land and test Frazier's durabiabty. Rocky cut, and Frazier was prone to swell up so both guys can lose that way, but this is not a distance type of fight.

Frazier was knocked down by Mike Bruce and Oscar Bonavena, and of course all time great puncher George Foreman. Bonavena was a good puncher.
Whilst Frazier did not face that many punchers , he did face Quarry x2 ,Ellis,Stander,Ramos
none of them floored him and Bonavena could not repeat the feat in their second fight.

How many punchers did Rocky fight? About the same amount and none hit like Foreman.

A near 40 years old Moore weighing188lbs dropped Marciano and caused him to black out,A 38 years old Walcott dumped him on his ass.
I wouldn't pick Marciano based on his DURABILITY.
I pick him because he was a two handed puncher, but certainly not with any great confidence because Frazier was faster,and bigger and was not cut prone as Rocky was.
Frazier is also more proven against class big men.
It's basically a 50/50 fight imo

This would be an absolute ****er.

Frazier has the speed advantage, he will get off faster. Marciano has an advantage inside with his shorter arms.

I go back and forth on who get's the better of each other inside. Marciano Mauled taller dudes inside with the crouch tactics. Frazier is shorter though. Marciano actually didn't look that good vs shorter guys, as did Tyson. Frazier on the other hand was well schooled inside and beat up taller and shorter guys inside. This is a more recent observation.

outside of these factors though, Marciano is just a brutal fighter who never quits - the fact is they would be standing in front of each other for 15 rounds and both of them served to dominate fights that played out this way.

agree with most of this, But Stander and Ramos weren't really huge punchers, Quarry was a good puncher but Joe never got hit by him well. Any really heavy hitters were able to drop or hurt Joe. He always got up though. He would get up against Rocky as well, and both of them were would busting each other up. It might come down to heart.

It could go the distance though, since both of these guys are certainly not prone to quitting. Foreman stopped Joe because it was a pointless event, he kept pushing him back.

Bugner was not a puncher. Yet on few times he opened up the defensive minded Bugner rocked Frazier. Stander was a bum and Ramos too, yet both visibly rocked Frazier in fights where they hardly landed at all.

Archie Moore was a top puncher in his day, and definitely hit harder than Bugner, Ramos, Stander and company! Frazier's chin was suspect. Rocky hit harder than mediocre punchers that knocked Frazier down, or visibly stunned him / bucked his knees.

Neither was Bugner yet he viable hit Joe in on of there few times he hit Frazier. Stander was a bum and Ramos too, yet both me visibly rocked Frazer in fights where they hardly laded much in short fights.

I'm actually curious the effect eachothers blows would have on eachother. I would probably edge Marciano in this match up. even if its a late round take out.
