    - - No they didn't. They watched the competitive Parker fight that had Mighty Joe in reverse for most of the fight.

What happened was with all the distractions and delays with fighters falling out left and right whether by drug tests or emasculation during AJ American debut with other media dross and financials distracting AJ, he was knocked out in sparring. The $$$ was too big at this point with a game fighter finally signed.

If you saw the fight, AJ very carefully boxed Andy who is himself a one off physical phenom, but then come 4th rd or so, AJ KDs Andy to wade in for the kill and got caught and never recovered because he was already damaged going into the fight.

The rematch a one sided masterclass that Ali would've been praised to the heavens, but like all sluggers of renown, AJ suffers from the usual critics who refuse credit when a slugger don't KO his opponent.

He had Usyk mug busted up ripe for a stoppage when Usyk landed his Hail Mary that perfectly popped AJ eyeball. His corner didn't have enough pro experience and panicked when AJ couldn't see for a couple or rounds, so AJ lost what had been a likely stoppage. He was very competitive in the rematch, and his Usyk series will be lauded by experts for ring acumen and skillset.

In the timeline of great champs, he was ahead of all of them until his derailment which wasn't a terrible thing as no fighter has ever had such financial success so fast in the ring as AJ.

      Great spin. Tremendous.
....but onto current events. How important is it in your estimation, that A.J. Get the stoppage against the once beaten Jermain Franklin??? In order to stay in the title conversation, I mean?

Let's don't forget that Andy Ruiz was brought in as a last minute substitute, and Miller punk shoved Joshua. Not a Mr. Nice guy like, say Parker. AJs best win under 40 or under 280.
I was never overly sold on Miller. His record was pretty light, like Michael Grant light

          - - I see Franklin as a heavy that AJ respects after giving Whyte all he could handle.

It's also a breather in another trainer reset for rounds so AJ can work their new format in. AJ accomplished his greatest success with a trainer of limited experience as we saw in the popped eye debacle.

To be fair, recently Brits suffered serious orbital fractures in dramatic losses by Brook consecutively by Golovkin and Spence, and young Dubois by Joyce, and Sanders by Canelo where we could visually see and feel the moment without a replay. When the fighter can't see out of an eye, serious stuff under normal conditions would be tended by an ophthalmologist, not a boxing trainer.

This era's James Broad Axe Broad; his own worst enemy. Miller was on a pretty good roll, and got his start as a top ranked Kicboxer, if you can picture that. I'm secretly interested in his upcoming fight with Lucas Browne. Its the "I love it all" in me. Put Bob Sapp in with Hong-Man Choi and I'm there. Don't tell anyone. Nothing to be proud of.

Hell yes! Sapp KOd Hoost TWICE and almost ragdolled big Nogueira into submission. Who does that????? And the Techno Goliath? Greatest Ssrieum grappler ever; He won the 2005 K-1 Seoul Grand Prix beating Kaoklai Kaennorsing in the finals, possibly the best Muay Thai fighter over 175 ever.
                    .....But enough of that.

If you like MMA too, that's cool. I don't get to watch as much anymore. You can also check out the MMA section here if you haven't yet.
