I remember like I posted watching the fight live on television, the hope was that Mildenberger would trouble Muhammad Ali with his southpaw stance, take full advantage of that and that Ali had lost to southpaws in the amateurs. In the early going, Ali did not move around as much as he did against Patterson and Henry Cooper. But he did get tagged a few times
