That's what I was thinking as well. Aren't there usually CT scans before world championship fights, or am I mistaken?

I think they should be but honestly I never heard that and I think its just a simple physical. Also the way it works in the US you have to provide them whatever medical information you have, so its all self reported, its not like a central medical record system.

If fighers get denied medically then they miss out on a payday, so they have an incentive to cover up any injuries.

They also cleared Logan Paul to fight and he has videos up on youtube from in the past of him getting CT scans and having some brain damage shown and there was a whole thing where he was going to do one of those russian slapping competitions and then doctors were telling him not to do it because of his past brain damage. But commissions still clear him to fight.

Who is condeming the entire medical field? I am telling you that CT scan is not a standard procedure to sanction pro fights. You know that even charlie zelennoff got licensed at one point. The standard is far lower than you think. And as I told the other guy, the doctors in the US (rightfully so for privacy reasons) dont have full access to your medical history, it is based on what you want to report to them. So the doctors evanuating him dont know of his CT scans unless he reports it and dont know if they are real or not unless he brings it up. They see a young athletic guy and he is basically guaranteed to be allowed to fight unless there is something clearly wrong with him. They cleared guys like holyfield and toney who were slurring their words.

So you're condemning part of the medical field . . . The part that licences fighters who slur words and don't demand CTs?

Anyway I wish I hadn't said that to you - I wanted to focus on whether Jake Paul actually had any CTs done . . . The guy comes a across as an over hyped fight cliche and getting out of fight by claiming brain damage seems to fit right in with the BS.
