    - -Coming from a boxing family, Olympic bronze, and then picked up to be brilliantly matched by the #1 promoter in history by the numbers and by a long shot ain't zactly soiled rags to preening well oiled lucre.

In short, we ain't talkin' Jack Dempsey or Joe Lewis or Marvin Hagler here. U boy been coddled and swaddled ever step of the way...

Also to mention that the other three men always accorded themselves as gentlemen but that type of behavior is no longer popular in America - now it is about how loud rude and boastful you can be - people speak in public the way angry 14 year old girls tweet or like trolls hiding behind alias on social media.

What is missing in Mayweather is class; we just had four years of a President without class it is no surprise that our athletes have become publically boorish as well. This generation has no role models of character to emulate.

This is absolute bullshlt. Coddled while his pops was a drug dealer slated to do time, his mom was addicted to crack, and seven family members sleeping in a one bedroom apartment without heat and water? Sounds so coddled to me.

I'm guessing you're no fan of Prince Naseem, Roy Jones, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Robinson? Numerous athletes in other sports?

Was it classy to call Joe Frazier a gorilla? Classy for Joe to claim he "did that" to Muhammad Ali?

It seems rather silly to make a big deal out of a guy telling you that if you don't want to watch a fight, you shouldn't buy it.

A man is not a simple as you make him out to be. Was he classless when he paid for George Floyd's funeral? Classless when he paid for Genaro Hernandez funeral? Various other charitable acts as well. You're a big fan of pointing out the complexities of a person or a situation when it fits the agenda. Yet, there is much ado about nothing here and you seem at arms over it. Doesn't make sense to me.

Wasn't a fan of any of them - no it was mean - I didn't make a big deal out if it; a single post on the Boxing Scence Forum isn't a big deal unless you make the forum an obsession - paying for the guy's funeral is very classy glad you mentioned that

A big enough deal to begin a conversation here about it, is what I meant.

There must be a whole lot of athletes whom you are not a fan of. So be it.

This is the new norm in sports now. Be a classless, arrogant trash talker and attract the same type of garbage fans you surround yourself with at the strips clubs.

There is a distinction to made between fighters who trash talk and put on a show and the ones who are genuinely shyt to the core. Some people can’t or won’t see that.

                    - -Who was that former Mayor of Cincinnati I think it was that would have "Common folks" with lots of problems with each other ream each other out on the air, fighting, pulling hair, sucker punching and otherwise dumbing down airwaves to all time lows with spiking TV ratings?

That may have been ground zero for the new garbage era, however it was preceded by a decade by the infamous Buckley/Vidal debates when two pampered political intellectuals break out the nails and go for the eyes...
