I think it was the New York marathon where Patterson and Johansson renewed their rivalry, Patterson finished before him. My useless fact of the day!
As his name has come up am I suffering from the early symptoms alzheimers or does Johansson remind anyone else of the Klitschko brothers?

Here's Floyd Patterson talking about the marathon:

Johansson's style does remind me a bit of the Klitschko brothers, then again it's the classic European style. Straight up stance, worked behind the jab and only threw the right hand occasionally, with a lot of power behind it.

I was thinking of the not too much activity and wait for the other guy to crack 1st and run into your bomb.

Spinks was destroyed in 1 by Tyson.

That too. Johansson did throw a lot of jabs though but rarely any power punches.

I think a comparison can be made with Wladimir although there's obviously a difference in size between the two.

Yes more similar to Wlad to my mind.
