Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis all debuted around 20 years ago, I wouldn't call them contemporary heavyweights even though one of them is still hanging around at 46 years of age (and actually having success against one of today's freak shows).

Evolution takes place over hundreds of thousands of years NOT over fewer than a dozen decades. You have got to be joking. When a SPORT and its ATHLETES evolve, it usually means that the TIMES change as well as the technology, not humans themselves. Today's athletes have state of the art training facilities, nutritional supplements, advanced strength and conditioning coaches and drills, etc. etc. That's what I meant when I said that the sport evolves.
