    Here's my best fight since 1980:

    Round 1 - Hagler/Hearns
    Round 2 - Moorer/Stewart
    Round 3 - Gatti/Robinson II
    Round 4 - Benn/Watson
    Round 5 - Jackson/Tate
    Round 6 - Gatti/Robinson I
    Round 7 - ?
    Round 8 - Saad Muhammad/Lopez II
    Round 9 - Gatti/Ward I
    Round 10 - Bowe/Holyfield I
    Round 11 - Eubank/Watson II
    Round 12 - Gutierrez-Franklin
    Round 15 - McGuigan/Cruz


    Struggling to fill in rounds 7, 13 and 14, though.

          Everyone uses different criteria in deciding what equates to a good round of boxing, but I think most people will agree that the 1st round of the Haggler/Hearns fight is by far the best 1st round ever.

            Who was it that Mancini blasted out in the first round, Frias? That was a hell of a round.

              Nah, there's been some other amazing 1st rounds. I've only seen clips of Dempsey-Firpo, but what was there, 9 knockdowns in that round? Other classic 1st rounds would be Meza-Garza, Moorer-Cooper, Frazier-Quarry 1.

                  Never seen Dempsey-Firpo. I will have to check that out.
