    Billeau2,

You have come up with a outstanding Boxer/Fighter, that few fans have any knowledge of, Ted 'Kid' Lewis. Skinny ***ish kid that could beat anybody, that is anybody!

      Monte Fookin Cox!!!!!

Now we've really gone off the deep end.

Are you guys all institutionalized together!?!?!? DO you all post from your sanitarium's computer lab?

I respect him for believing in his guys and keeping American MMA alive. I respect him for standing up to Dana. I respect him for fostering an interest in Boxing on the internet.

But he IS NOT TO BE RELIED UPON FOR INFORMATION!!!

Anyone who has graduated High School can see that. Adults should not be mistaking his website for authoritative insight on Boxing. I don't know how that is NOT con****uous.

McFarland had the gift of power, Gans the gift of exceptional technical ability... when we bring in Leanard, Ross, ect it gets really hard to designate the greatest.

Lewis is one of my favorites... Him and another great talent, jack Britton clashed many times...

I think Armstrong was perhaps a class above... but to argue that any of these men was the best has some merit.
Britton, not Lewis, was the technician and purist of that duo.

And yes, I believe Lewis was as great a talent as any fighter at that weight.

Packey was all around better than all of them. Most certainly Gans - as a technician most of all.

Britton definitely got the better of him. But Lewis' role srved to significantly advance the sport of Boxing, as he forced Jack to always improve upon his craft.

They fought many times Rusty!!! Geez.... Britton had one more win I seem to remember, out of the lot, with a few no decisions and draws.

                Thanks Ron!

The ***s had their approach to the sport... It always seemed to relate to being technical, finding a way to win with a certain ease...Coming in nonplussed, like David ready for Goliath lol. Maxie Rosenbloom, a beautiful fighter... Before him Chyrsanthium Joe Choyinski, who taught many technical tricks to Johnson... And then of course The light weight, welter weight guys...

mendoza, a Spanish *** was one of the first technical guys in the sport as well.

Rusty might not know what a source is... I mean he argued and name called about cutting the ring off, only to eventually show he had no concept of what cutting the ring off is...
