Uneducated response. No one fight “shows” size matters”.
In the history of heavyweight boxing there is a long history of smaller fighters knocking stiff much larger opponents. Skill, styles, speed, reflexes, punching power all need to be considered before size or reach are even mentioned. Jump to size and reach?...You’re an amateur. Learn the sport.

Since you like taking out of your ass, tell me Numbnutz, why us it that as fighters get smaller they get more skilled but the divisions are spaced closer together?

Golata was a bum.
Once again you chose a white fighter, this time a lowly skilled fighter, above two great black heavyweights. You ignore relative skills but just look at race. What a POS.

Golota unskilled!?!?!?!?
A headcase, sure. But he definitely wasn't unskilled.
He conducted an ATG beatdown on Bowe before imploding. Bowe suffered life-altering abuse in that fight... something I doubt many others could've endured, champion or not.

Casuals. They love to pick decent fighters with a bit of talent, and blow them up... So someone like Golota, who at his best had good skills, and had some success in the ring, suddenly becomes a man with one of the best jabs in heavyweight history... You cannot make such nonsense up... lol.
So lets see... we have two great fighters, Coetze and Golota...lol. What a twat!

Weight means much more at lighter divisions where 5-10 pounds is huge.
At heavyweight it’s a different story hence the long line of great lighter fighters feasting on bigger opponents.
Those that know boxing look at Skill, speed, punching power, styles first. Size and reach are way down the list.

So, Dumb Dumb, you really think the result would have been the same had Patterson been the same size as Ali?
What if it were Patterson who were bigger, and Ali was giving up several inches and dozens of pounds?
When did Ali ever beat a bigger man who was actually good?
He couldn't even put away hapless Earnie Terrell.
If size doesn't matter why do guys like Earnie Terrell and Abe Simon work their way into championship fights?
has there ever been a Middleweight champion as bad as Primo Carnera?
