The first Duran-Leonard fight has to be in the top 3. It was a major event with significant crossover appeal.

Tyson vs McNeely?????? Really? Where was it so significant, the McNeely household?
I second Duran /// Leonard it was a huge pay perview at that time. We ran a live boxing show in the Hartford Civic Center featuring Marlon "Magic Man" Starling on the 5 bout live card prior to the live feed!!!

Holmes vs Norton was a big fight and turned out to be one of the best fights ever!! There was no running or wasting time in that one what ever they were paid it wasn't enough. Great Fight! Ray.

          I would add Leonard-Hagler too.

Yes, a glaring omission. Definitely in the top 10.

Tyson-Lewis was about as big as they get.

Yes, that was the biggest closed circuit fight in history to that point and had a crowd of over 50,000. It was, without doubt, one of the very top fights in modern boxing.

It was also the first of what would become pay per view. carried by ONTV.
