I like the 3 point MAX system for scoring MMA fights.
In the 3 point MAX system a fighter wins a round 1-0 if he barely wins the round. Rounds like this could of gone to ethier fighter.
A fighter wins a round 2-0 if he easily wins the round but doesn't land that monster shot that looks like he could win the fight.
A 3-0 round is a round that a fighter could of easily finished the fight. His opponent was hurt badly and no one would of been surprised if the ref stopped the fight.
A 1-0 round is a round with lots of sweeps and reversals, neither fighter getting a major edge.
A 2-0 round is a round where one fighter gets several takedowns, works the ground n pound and passes the guard as the round ends.
A 3-0 round is a round where a fighter gets a knockdown, mounts his opponent, cuts him over the eye with an elbow and has a rear naked choke locked in full as the round ends.
I think it works better than the MUST system.
