  • running shoes on a budget

im shopping for some new running shoes to be used mostly on treadmill and track...ive liked my asics gel nimbus a lot but my budget/income wont let me spend a $100+ again...

does anyone know of quality running shoes in the price range of $50~90?

    p.s. - im a little flat-footed if that makes a difference

    thanks

I had many types of injuries/problems with almost all types of high end running shoes (Asics/New Balance/Brooks/etc), until I discovered the popular Vibram FiveFingers "barefoot" shoes.

      www.vibramfivefingers.com

If you research online reviews, you will have a difficult time finding a negative review about them, unless the reviews are of the counterfeit/fake versions, which are infesting all over the place.

It may take 2-3 weeks to get used to them. Initially, pain/soreness is common.

To the OP, I see that you are flat footed. Based on what I've heard, it just might take longer to adapt into those shoes.
