What was your favorite decade of all time? IMO, the greatest decade for fights and fighters were the 80's. Please state your opinion and give reason as to why the decade you chose was the best.

Tough, tough question...........the 70s, 80s and 90s were all closely matched for greatness.
I only chose the 90s because I have the fondest memories of the decade, it was a great decade for British fans particularly:

'When We Were Kings' was released.
Magical decade for boxing fans. It seemed like there were amazing fights on every weekend and the papers were full of boxing news, rivalries and comebacks! And still I've missed so much to comment on.........

The fighters I highlighted were at their peak in the 40's plus you can throw in Joe Louis, Billy Conn, Henry Armstrong etc Probably the strongest MW era for my money, La Motta, Cerdan, the murderers row, Graziano, Zale. Some great lightweights Ike Williams, Beau Jack, Bob Montgomery etc etcComment
