if you want the best and money isnt a factor, Winning is the hands down the best for bag work, mit work, and sparring. i have a pair of 16oz.

Winning gloves are amazing when it comes to hand protection. but cost over $250 for a 16oz pair.
i'd recommend the ringside imf tech training gloves, or title gel training gloves, for sparring
as for bag gloves, the title GEL world bag gloves are nice, but they are around 18oz. the ringside imf tech bag gloves are 14oz.
personally, i prefer having 2 copies of the same pair of gloves. 1 for sparring, 1 for bag work. (2 pairs of 16oz ringside imf tech gloves.)
but ever since i purchased my 16oz pair of Winning gloves last month, they will be the only ones i use, forever.

i think for bag work, the heavier the better. sparring gloves feel light after hitting the heavybag with some heavier gloves

I like the Ringside International Training Gloves. My gym has a few pairs and they're great. Get 16oz, if you get 18oz, you won't be able to make a close fist.

My own personal sparring gloves are just regular Title classic sparring gloves (16oz). They cost me $40 w/ shipping included. They're not bad for a beginner or for someone who doesn't spar often, or if you're on a tight budget (like me). But if you spar a lot, I wouldn't recommend them, they're an "average" glove.
