i started boxing when i was 15 but had to quit because a shoulder injury i got from hockey. im 17 n i just started at a new gym in my new area and have been there for a few weeks.
the first 3 weeks i went they let a new trainer train me sinse i had experience already but i found out last week half the thins he taught me was wrong or had real bad form. the last time i was at the gym this old dude came up to me n showed me what i was doing wrong. my footwork is still real good but my straight is real messed up (cuz of the trainer not me lol). anybody think 3 weeks of bad training is gonna set me back a lot more ? my goal is to get into a local competition which is in april '08. sorry for the long post but its been bugging me sinse im already 17 on top of that
