The FGA is very proud to announce the Southeastern Grappling Challenge II! The event will be taking place Saturday, April 26 at Coral Reef Highschool in Miami, FL. The event will be taking place the day after UFC Miami! So drive down on Friday and watch the UFC live - then wake up the next day for NAGA!
THE SOUTHEASTERN GRAPPLING CHALLENGE II is ranked by the North American Grappling Association (NAGA). NAGA is the largest grappling tournament circuit in North America. NAGA Florida's previous event had over 300 competitors - and we expect to bring in even more competitors with this event! Many of Florida’s best will be at the Southeastern Grappling Challenge II – so don’t miss out on the action!
We will be having 37 NO-GI Divisions for Kids, Teens, Women, Seniors, and Adults (Beginner through Advanced). The large number of divisions helps eliminate the possibility of mismatches and provides you with the fairest and most comprehensive tournament structuring in the country. This event is strictly a NO-GI tournament (Gi/Uniforms are not required – at a minimum shorts with a draw string, cup, and mouthpiece must be worn). Medals will be given out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
COMPETE IN MULTIPLE DIVISIONS AT NO EXTRA COST:
Half of the competitors in a tournament will lose their 1st match. To help you get the most for your money, you may compete in as many divisions as you like at no extra cost! For example, if you are a lightweight beginner, you may compete in middleweight beginner or lightweight intermediate – at no extra cost!
Not only is this one of the largest and best tournaments in Florida, it is also one of the most affordable! If you pre-register before October 12, the price for competitors is only $40! If you miss the pre-registration deadline, you can still register at the door for $50. The price for spectators is $10 at the door.
