Danish cruiserweight prospect Detlef Rossing (6-0, 4 KO) square off against former WBA champ Valery Brudov (44-12, 30 KO) in a scheduled eight-rounder on October 7 in Copenhagen on the next Danish Fight Night event.
The 40-year Brudov is no doubt about it not what he once was - but it still looks like a tough test for Rossing, who is just back from a training champ in the US.
Headlining the bill is Lolenga Mock vs Manny Siaca.
Asloum Event promotes a big show in Montpelier in the south of France on October 12 topped by Karim Guerfi´s oft-postponed defence of the EBU bantamweight title against Stephane Jamoye.
Lightweight Yvan Mendy, WBC Silver champ, co-headlines against an opponent to be announced. Female champion Angelique Duchemin that recently passed away while in traing should have been in one of the headliners on this show.
Farouk Kourbanov (14-0) defends the EU super featherweight title against Hakim Ben Ali (19-4) on October 14 in Herstal in an all Belgian matchup. The winner have French champ Samir Ziani (25-3-1) as mandatory challenger.
It didn´t take long for Dragan Lepei to pull out as co-challenger for the vacant EU super middleweight title against Adasat Rodriguez (16-6-2) and he´s now replaced by Frenchman Nicolas Dion (17-4). The deadline for agreement or purse sides - September 13 - remains unchanged.
EBU super lightweight champion Anthony Yigit is now back in Stockholm after a spell in London and before that he was based on the Spanish Canary Islands and before that Anthony lived in Copenhagen.
Yigit speaks six languages fluently and is now trained by Vedrat Akrap for his fight September 30 in Solna against Sandor Martin, who recently signed with Real Deal Promotions in the US.
