It´s official: MH Promotion stage Marco Huck (41-5-1) vs Joe "Juggernaut" Joyce (10-0) for the vacant EBU heavyweight title on January 11 at the TUI Arena in Hannover (Germany). The German team won purse bids on October 16 with an offer for 480,000 Euro to be split 50-50.
The show is billed as "Brexit Battle in Hannover and there are eight fights planned for the undercard but who is fighting isn´t announced yet.

WBA cruiserweight king - the super champ version - Arsen Goulamirian (25-0), defends the title on December 28 at the Palais des Sports in Marseille (France) against US-based Moldovan Constantin Bejenaru (14-0) on a Univent promotion. Before the deal with Bejenaru was made there was an offer for Dane Ditlev Rossing (13-0) to take the fight but Rossing was forced to decline the offer due to a hand injury.
A third fight between lightweights Francesco Patera (23-3) and Edis Tatli (32-3) could be on its way for early 2020 as Tatli is now official challenger for the EBU title held by Patera.
Patera came to Finland in 2017 as a lightly regarded opponent for then EBU champ Tatli, who appeared on his way to the US for a major title fight. However, Patera won a close, disputed split decision in what on paper was a big upset and a rematch was made and now Tatli won and later relinquished the title and went on to fight in the US where he lost to Teofimo Lopez.
Patera then got his chance at the vacant EBU title and beat Lewis Ritson in what again was regarded as a big upset and have since gone on to make three more title defence and no-one takes him lightly anymore.
The EBU have set December 20 as deadline for agreements or contracts and there are ongoing negotiations.
IBF Youth super welterweight champ Oliver Meng (7-0) will most likely defend the title on February 1 of the next year on Danish Fight Night Promotion and Mogens Palle´s show in Copenhagen. Headlining are Brenda Carbajal vs Sarah Mahfoud in what is a defence of Carbajal´s IBF interim female featherweight title.
