Comebacking German former WBA; WBO and EBU champ Juergen Braehmer (50-3) will now face Edi Kadrija (11-1) on Saturday in Schwerin. Kadrija steps for the injured Nils Schmidt.

The 40-year old Braehmer last fought in December of last year and that has been his only fight since winning over Rob Brant in October of 2017. Still, unless the former champ have suddenly grown "old" it appears that Kadrija is in deep waters against Braehmer.

Braehmer trains as previously reported Tyron Zeuge and is now also the new coach for female middleweight Christina Hammer, who lost to Claressa Shields in her last fight.

There is also a change of opponent for Danish cruiser Ditlev Rossing (11-0) who defends the WBC Youth title on the Jorgen Hansen Memorial show in Randers (Denmark) also on Saturday.

The 24-year old Rossing is now too old to be fighting for the WBC Youth title but is allowed what is called a graduation defence before moving on to bigger things. The original opponent was Landry Matete but he is now replaced by American Demetrius Banks (10-7-1). Banks is 38-years old but is approved by the WBC to fight for its Youth title. Well, there´s nothing like eternal youth is there?
