Erkan Teper Snags EU Title With TKO Victory of Outah

German-Turkish heavyweight Erkan Teper (13-0, 9KOs) won the vacant EU title with an eighth round stoppage of Newfel Outah (12-1, 8KOs) tonight in Munich (Germany) on a show staged by Z! Promotion. Outah retired on his stool and didn´t come out for round eight.
Scoring after seven was split with Teper up by four points on two cards and trailing on the third. The new champion has a mandatory defense coming up against Johan Duhaupas, the previous title holder. Outah came in on short notice for the injured Duhaupas.

The bad judging was by the two guys who had Teper up. Criminally bad, really. He was getting outpunched 5-1 or more and was clearly down when Ouatah quit for no apparent reason. Teper's got power for sure, but he…

teper keeps rolling. i'll have to see the fight. he has some serious power but I read he was down on one card. bad judging? i'll see when I get a copy...
