Eric Morel Eyes Return in February or Early March

By Rey Colon

Former champion Eric Morel (43-2, 21KOs) is forced to return to court but this time he was recruited as a juror and will miss about a week of training time under his father, Cyril.

"I am not in agreement but I was told it was mandatory. It will take away about a week of training to be part of the jury in a court case in Wisconsin until next Tuesday. That's the way of life," he said.

Morel, a former 112-pound champion of the WBA, will return to the ring in late February or early March as he waits for a world bantamweight title shot.

I thought Penalosa beat him too. I hope someone knocks out this sex criminal soon.

I thought Penalosa beat Morel but got jobbed. The other bantams will beat Morel and not get robbed. Morel is a pretty good fighter but I don't see him hanging with the stars of this deep division.
