Dulorme-Mayfield in Play For Kovalev vs. Agnew Card

By Ryan Burton

BoxingScene.com has been advised by sources close to the situation that a deal is close to being completed to match Thomas Dulorme (20-1) against Karim Mayfield (18-0-1) as the opening bout for HBO's March 29th broadcast that is headlined by Sergey Kovalev defending his WBO light heavyweight title against Cedric Agnew.

Dulorme has won four fights in a row since suffering his only loss, a 2012 knockout against Luis Carlos Abregu, while Mayfield returned to the ring this past September and posted an 8th round knockout of Christopher Fernandez after nearly a year long layoff.
