Drian Francisco May Face Singwancha in Thailand

By Bangkok Gurentai

Bangkok, Thailand - Filipino Hard Puncher Drian Francisico (20-0, 16KOs) may have the first defense of his interim-WBA super flyweight title against PABA champion Teppalith Singwancha in Thailand.

Mr. Naris Singwancha, a promoter in Thailand and the Philippines, announced to the Thai media that - “pursuant to a request from the Kokiet Group in Thailand, I will arrange a defense of the interim-WBA world super flyweight title by the champion Drian Fransisico, to be held in Thailand. The challenger will be Teppalith Singwancha, who is the current PABA flyweight champion.”

Drian Fransisco claimed the iterim-WBA title when he faced Duangpetch Kokietgym in Nongkhai, Thailand on November 30th, 2010. Once again, Drian will face a strong boxer fighter from Thailand.

Singwancha has fought 14 times, winning 10 of those bouts, and the percentage of his wins by knocked out is 62.5%. He pushes out strong combinations to compete against Drian’s heavy dynamite.

“The date and place of the fight will be prepared by the Kokiet Group which is promoter in Thailand and maybe the date will be settled on the 1st of May,” revealed by Mr. Naris.

I want Drian to fight Hugo Fidel Cazares for the WBA title; since he has the interim belt anyways.

Drian Francisco is another Filipino 'Dragon' coming out of Asia. Francisco has a different style. He's deceptively fast, and has a weird way of defending himself. He seems to use the 'drunken boxer' style of fighting.
