Puerto Rican superstar Miguel Cotto (37-3, 30KOs) has press conferences scheduled for Monday and Wednesday in New York and Puerto Rico to announce his December 1st fight versus WBA "regular" junior middleweight champion Austin Trout.

BoxingScenec.om has been advised that Cotto's trainer Pedro Diaz is currently deciding on a location to hold Cotto's training camp. The former three-division champion usually trains in Florida but Diaz wants him to prepare for Trout by training at a high altitude. He prefers that the training takes place at a minimum of 2,000 feet above sea level.

Diaz feels that Cotto will be better conditioned and finish his fights stronger by training at a higher altitude.

Heavyweight contender Odlanier Solis (18-1) is currently training in Puerto Rico with Diaz for his October 12th fight against Leif Larsen (16-0).  Solis will work side by side with Cotto after a training facility has been decided on.

Cotto versus Trout takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York on December 1st and will be broadcast by Showtime.
