Italian veteran Michele Di Rocco (37-1-1) will defend the EBU super lightweight title against official challenger Ruben Nieto (15-0) on October 3 in Fuenlabrada (Spain) with Rimer Boxe promoting. The Spanish promoter won purse bids on May 26 for the right to stage the fight with an offer for 55,113 Euro. It´s the second defence of the title Di Rocco won by beating Lenny Daws last year and in Nieto he face a dangerous challenger who also enjoys the advantage of fighting at home.
