Former three-time wordl champion Devon Alexander (26-2, 14KOs) envisions 2015 being a big year for him. The St. Louis, MO native lost his IBF welterweight title last December to Shawn Porter but bounced back in June with a dominating win over rugged Mexican contender Jesus Soto Karass.
Alexander said that he plans on returning to the ring in ether November or December and then plans on getting a major fight in the first half of 2015. He said that he has no doubt that he will capture a fourth world championship before the end of next year.
"I want to fight one more time this year and go out with a bang. Then next year I will get my title back and many more. By end of next year I'll be on the pound for pound list and a force to reckoned with," Alexander told BoxingScene.com.
