MORE LIVE RESULTS TO COME.................

Ryan Toms (9-0, 4 KOs) further improved his record with his first successful defense of his BBBofC Southern Area light middleweight title. 29-year old Toms induced a quality beating on the underachiever Pat McAleese (now 12-2-1, 2 KOs). The Northolt southpaw used his lead left hand to inflict a crucial effect in the fight. He continuously hurt McAleese in the first couple of rounds with his stinging fist and was close to putting him down in round three but punched himself out. McAleese survived till the bell but was dismantled soon in the fourth. Firstly, he was put down by a liver shot, then was forced to take a knee in the corner and was finally finished off by onrushing Toms after a solid one-two combo with just ten seconds remaining in the fourth round. Good win for Ryan Toms.

Young Latvian trialhorse Pavel Senkovs (2-37-2, 2 KOs) continued his miserable life of a professional loser after a clear-cut decision loss to fairly talented British bantamweight Abdul Barry Awad (8-0, 2 KOs), also known as Kid Galahad. Senkovs, 21, was trying to deliver some heat to fellow youngster but ultimately failed because of his slow feet and low technique. Feather-fisted (but not literally) Galahad damaged Senkovs in the sixth but found no sufficient power to finish him off. The Latvian was stopped only twice in his career. BoxingScene had it 60-55 - for the Kid.

Tyson's younger (and lighter) cousin Phill (9-1, 2 KOs) suffered his first career defeat, losing a close fight to unheralded British light middleweight Peter Vaughan (3-0-1, 1 KO) on points.
