Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya has denied the circulating rumors that he might return to the ring. Golden Boy CEO, Richard Schaefer, told several reporters that De La Hoya was inspired to return after watching Saturday's ring debut of 52-year-old Dewey Bozella, which took place on the Chad Dawson-Bernard Hopkins undercard at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

In fact, De La Hoya seemed to be very angry with the author of the article, claiming that his words were twisted to create false news.

"Another unprofessional column by a so called 'professional writer.' Bozella's win inspired the world to never give up. No comeback for me. A professional would get the facts and call the source," De La Hoya vented.
