David Price-Erkan Teper Ordered By EBU

By Per Ake Persson

Alexander Ustinov has withdrawn from an ordered showdown with Erkan Teper, which would have been contested for the vacant European Boxing Union (EBU) heavyweight title.

With Ustinov's withdrawal, England's David Price is next in line to contend for the crown. The EBU has called for a purse bid hearing for May 25, unless a deal can be reached before that point.

Price is promoted by Sauerland Event while Teper is with Z! Promotions.

The title was left vacant by Tyson Fury.
